"Mercedes-Benz asks calligraffiti artist Niels Meulman to customize a white Mercedes B-Class with hundreds of women's names to symbolize all the women the Pink Ribbon foundation serves."

Reminds me of that huge mural of red graffiti tags in the Lower East Side.

Scathing. What am I getting into?

Truth In Advertising directed by Tim Hamilton.

"Speakers say what they think and not what they should say."

. . .

Haha, this also made me laugh. Fearfully.

Don't like the campaign, but got to give some credit to the VFX. Look at the detail!

. . .

Today, (like all other days,) I'm thankful for...

My parents, who consistently show me the meaning of patience, compassion, and unconditional love. For being true role models that I can aspire to, and for being the steady foundation that I can always count on.

My siblings, who work so hard in realizing their goals, and make me so proud. For being able to put up with me when others probably wouldn't. For laughing at my dumb jokes.

The people who have made an impression on me. The things I find comfort in. The places I have yet to discover. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

. . .

Update: Bleh, I don't even want to LOOK at food...

"Cards" for Lexus by Team One.

And behind the scenes. Interesting!

Here's how it all stacked up:
1 cardstacker (world-record holder Bryan Berg)
18 days of stacking
2,016 decks of playing cards (108,864 cards total)
Stacked at a rate of 112 decks a day
To build over 30 towers
The tallest tower measuring 13 feet high

Remembered watching this back in the day and my jaw just dropping. Well, more because of the card stacking, not so much the car.

Video for Sid Lee. Sigh...

Working here has been my dream job for the past half year, starting when I learned who won the new Adidas Originals account. They do design the way I feel it should be done, through collaborative thinking amongst different fields. It's not just the advertising and design majors, but from all areas of creation and problem solving. Unfortunately, I haven't really seen too much of this elsewhere. I feel like more design firms and ad agencies should really look into their business approach, because they really embody the meaning of creativity. They don't just talk about the other angle, they LIVE it.

It's what makes them stand out, and damn do they look good doing it!

A couple new ones I hadn't seen before.

Always enjoyed this concept :)

This one's mad cute!

And one more to the Carpenter's "Close to you." I couldn't find a YouTube clip of but is definitely worth mentioning. Go watch it, like now...

I finally found it! The Saatchi & Saatchi ad for T-Mobile. Puts a smile on my face :)
